How do I make a gift? 

• Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, or Venmo: Make your gift online by clicking "Make a Gift" at the top right corner of this website. 

• Check: Make payable to the FHSU Foundation and write “Giving Day” and the area you’d like to support in the memo section. Mail to the FHSU Foundation at PO Box 1060 in Hays, KS 67601. 

What if I would like to support an area of FHSU other than General Scholarships?

If you would like to support an area of FHSU other than General Scholarships, please select the “Support Another Area of FHSU” option on the Giving Day website. When completing your gift, write in the scholarship or area of campus you wish to support during check-out. 

Is there a minimum gift amount? 

The minimum gift amount on FHSUGivingDay.com is $1. For gifts made at foundation.fhsu.edu/giving-day-gift, the minimum gift amount is $10. Every gift makes a difference, no matter the size. 

Can I make a gift before Tuesday, April 8, 2025, and have it count? 

Yes! Make your gift online at by clicking "Make a Gift" at the top right corner of this website. If you mail a check, please write “Giving Day” and the designated area of campus or scholarship in the memo section.

 Are matching gifts accepted? 

Yes! Matching gifts from your company or organization increases the impact of your donation. See if your employer will match your gift at foundation.fhsu.edu/matching-gifts. 

Is my contribution tax deductible? 

Yes! Your gift is entirely tax deductible. You will receive an email confirmation that serves as your tax receipt. 

Will my name be publicly displayed? Can I make my donation anonymously? 

When making your gift online, you choose how your name will appear on the donor roll, with the option to remain anonymous. 

How can I earn some FHSU merch? 

FHSU merch is based on your overall gift size this Giving Day. 

• $10+ to receive an FHSU sticker 

• $50+ to receive an FHSU mouse pad and sticker 

• $100+ to receive an FHSU deck of cards, mouse pad, and sticker 

Can I earn some FHSU merch for my spouse?

Sure! In addition to your gift, make a separate gift in your spouse’s name to receive two sets of FHSU merchandise. 

Can I donate to more than one scholarship or area of campus? 

Yes! Click the “Make a Gift” button at the top right corner of this website, and then select the “Support Another Area of FHSU” option. When completing your gift, write in the scholarship or area of campus you wish to support during check-out. 

When will I receive my FHSU merch?

All FHSU merchandise will be mailed within one month after Giving Day. 

How do I make sure that my donation gets counted toward Giving Day? 

The best way to ensure your donation gets counted towards Giving Day is to make your donation through this website. If you mail a check, please write “Giving Day” and the designated scholarship or area of campus in the memo section.
