BICKLE-SCHMIDT ATHLETIC COMPLEX
Fort Hays State University has unveiled plans for a new athletic complex. This game-changing facility will span nearly 20,000 square feet in the south end zone of Lewis Field. With the growth of our athletic programs, we've outgrown current training facilities. The Bickle-Schmidt Athletic Complex will not only be well-utilized by our football team but will also enhance training capabilities for all student-athletes. The complex will offer position-specific meeting rooms, coaches' offices, a team meeting room large enough to facilitate 130 athletes, and a locker room fit for 130.
ABOUT FHSU ATHLETICS
Fort Hays State University supports 19 intercollegiate athletic programs, including: Football, Volleyball, Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer, Women's and Men's Cross Country, Women's and Men's Basketball, Women's and Men's Wrestling, Softball, Baseball, Women's and Men's Indoor Track and Field, Women's Tennis, and Women's and Men's Golf. Out of the nearly 5,000 on-campus students, around 500 are student-athletes here at FHSU. All Tiger athletic programs compete in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.
